8 Weeks To Go! So what's been happening?

It's been awhile since we had a blog post so I thought I'd tack one on now to update anyone who is left that might be interested in reading!

Frank The Plucker is now 8 weeks off its premiere performance!

So what have we been up to?
Well rehearsals have been happening for many weeks now every Thursday night, with great success! The Cast of FTP is one bunch of good eggs and every rehearsal is always filled to the brim with laughs! The enthusiasm and hilarity of these incredibly talented 13-18 year olds is amazing, the future of FCCC productions will be fantastic if these guys keep up the good work!

Set construction has begun with the old 'Guys and Dolls' and 'Annie' door being remade into part of the factory! Other designs are also coming to life!

Costume is also busily underway fitting out all the actors with fabulous costumes! Repairs and bleaching is the main piece of work for the costume department at the moment!

Lighting and sound departments are slowly coming together and will begin on rigging the lights and sound very soon!

The small drama stage is set to be extended by about 8 feet...don't ask how big that is in metres! Hopefully it will be ready by the end of term!

Show dates are slowly being organised with shows to be confirmed on Thursday the 12th of October and Friday the 13th of October! Two shows will be held on each of these days. On Friday night there will be a public performance for anyone wishing to watch the show!

As you can see it is all happening for Frank The Plucker and did I forget to tell you so far we have no budget! It's a very exciting time with a mere 8 weeks left before we open...but we'll be ready! And we're going to show you all just how fantastic this show has become!

So what can you do to help?
    • Send the stars some Fan Mail at www.franktheplucker.proboards51.com public support is what the cast really need to show that you're all behind them!
    • If you have free periods on Thursdays we can really use a hand with set, lighting etc so ask me what we're doing this week in the frees and we'll get you to help out!

Thank you all for your support over the last...well this whole year! Without you it wouldn't be worth it! Same with all those that ridicule the play...without you we wouldn't be motivated enough to keep going every week!

Hope to see you helping out...or in the audience!

Oh and here is a nice little secret about the play!

FTP does not end with any chickens in shell suits!
